Do I need to switch hosting providers?

No. Lumin sits in front of your server and forwards verified connections. Add your domain and backend address, verify ownership and update DNS. Your backend should accept connections only from Lumin addresses so traffic cannot bypass protection.

Does every player need to solve a captcha?

It depends on your protection profile. In security mode, Lumin checks client behavior and enables captcha above your configured connection-rate threshold. A captcha-based verification profile is also available.

Can I start without a card?

Yes. Create an account and start on the Free plan without a payment card. Current limits for servers, domains and traffic are shown in the panel.

Do blocked bots use my transfer allowance?

No. Your plan counts data forwarded to the backend and server responses. Connections stopped by the filter and locally answered status pings do not count.

Does Lumin guarantee protection against every DDoS attack?

Lumin filters Minecraft connections and client behavior before they reach your backend. Protection against volumetric attacks also depends on the network infrastructure. We do not promise immunity to every type of attack.

Can my team manage multiple servers?

Yes. Organize servers into organizations, invite members and assign roles. API keys let you integrate within the permissions of an individual organization.
